Thurrock Street Pastors is a local expression of the National Street Pastors organisation created by Ascension Trust and the national website can be found here, our page on the national website is found here

Street Pastors are volunteers from local churches of all denominations and walks of life.

In Thurrock the initial churches invovled were Grays Baptist, the Anglican Grays Team Ministry based at St Peter and St Paul, Church of His Presence, Christ City Church, Grays Salvation Army and Wellcome Church

MISSION STATEMENT

We engage, train and mobilize Christian volunteers, to be relevant in public life as salt and light addressing issues of vulnerability and social exclusion through the principle of caring, listening and helping people. We work in partnership with the police, local authorities and other voluntary organisations to achieve our goals and attain greater social cohesion in our community.
