Thank you so much for signing up for Thurrock Street Pastors
Some information on the way forward.
WHEN and WHERE.
The Police and the Council have asked for a Friday late afternoon, early evening session for Grays. We hope as numbers grow to cover other areas of Thurrock.
HOW.
National Street Pastors has a fantastic training programme to ensure that we can be our best on the streets of Thurrock.
This training programme will start in June.
There is one course that everyone must do before they can go on the streets. This course is called Roles and Responsibilities. This is an in-person course.
There are several courses that the National Street Pastors run on zoom.
All these courses are on a Saturday morning.
There will also be three or four local in-person courses, for example Working with the Police, Knowing your community, Emergency First Aid. These are run by local people.
We would like to set up a WhatsApp group for all of those who want to be on the teams, either on the streets or praying.
CAN I ask you to email me an answer to these questions please?
1, Can I have a mobile number to add you to the WhatsApp group please, if so would you be kind enough to let me know your number? As not everyone left a number on the note.
2, Would you like and follow our social media (details below)
3. Please could you let me know if you can make a in person training day on the 1st of June in Grays?
Please send replies to secretary@thurrockstreetpastors.org.uk
Thank you once again for making this happen
